The Eurosommelier Level 3 Award in Wines consists of 30 hours of study, including 18 hours of course by one of our Eurosommelier certified educators. The program takes place over 3 consecutive days, with classes from 9 am to 5 pm with lunch breaks, study time and exam included.
With 6 hours of course each day, the class will use presentations, discussions and tastings to tackle the key points presented in the teaching material. During the course, you will taste 44 wines from the main wine-producing regions of France, Europe and the New World.
Sessions are limited to 14 students.
Once your registration for a session is validated, you’ll receive your course material, containing a textbook, study guide, self-assessment exercises, and summary sheet of the European School for Sommeliers. The program includes presentations, discussions and visual aids, as well as guided tastings and self-assessment exercises. The educator will answer your questions and encourage dynamic and interactive exchanges.
The exam takes place during the last hour of the course. To obtain your certification, you must answer 55% of the 50 multiple-choice questions correctly. You will receive your result by email about 8 weeks after your exam date. Your certificate and pin will then be mailed to you. You can resit the exam if you do not pass for a fee of 80 euros.
